Fast (healthy) Food

There are many reasons why fast food restaurants are seen on every corner. They are quick, cheap, and don't taste terrible. Generally,  they aren't very healthy for you either. I am no chef, however, I try to cook most of my meals at home. This way I know exactly what I'm putting in my body and I have more of a control on portions. Due to my ever-changing schedule and hurry-up-and-wait lifestyle, all my cooking is quick. So I decided to share my favorite fast (healthy) foods with my readers.

  •  My absolute favorite frozen turkey burger is from Applegate Farms. I buy mine at Whole Foods. It is all organic, only 140 calories and they only take 12 mins on the stove. I usually pair that with some spinach or a couple of baby carrots and it makes a very good light lunch or dinner.

  •  Almost every household has eggs. Pull out the yolks and make a little egg white omelet. I buy egg whites in a carton. I use baby bell lights for cheese and I love adding in some spinach or cut up peppers for some added flavor. If you have any, you can also add some salsa on top.

  • A plain old salad. Basics are best. Spinach is one of the best bases for a salad, it has great nutrients and tastes great. just put in anything you have around the house that you like and think would taste good together.

These three have gotten me through my most busy days. They are extremely healthy and very simple. You might need to pick some things up on the way home, but nothing that will empty out your bank account. Instead of stopping at the fast food place down the block, open up your fridge and make something healthy. You'll thank yourself for it later on.

Guerlain’s Bullet #futuretrendpretiction

Not yet a trend but likely to be in the future. The Guerlain lipstick is customized for you. Something that has likely not shown up yet on your social media feed caught my attention the other day when a friend showed me her lipstick. The tube was an unusual shape, almost looked like a large bullet. When I asked her about it she told me that it was by the company Guerlain and she customized the tube in the store. I knew I had to check it out more. On the Guerlain website you can choose between 30 different shades and 15 different cases of the Rouge G De Guerlain, also known as “The Bullet”. All cases have a double mirror that allows for easy application anywhere. The lipstick itself is made up of plant-based polymers and silver microcrystals that create a luminous, long-lasting color. The lipstick will not dry out your lips thanks to the jojoba, a southwestern North American nut, and mango butt er that nourish your lips throughout the day. The first of it’s kind, th...

There are many ways that people have been taking care of their bodies outside of working out but lately there are two ways that have been trending over Instagram. First, Cryofeul located in TriBeca on Colby street. Cryotherapy chambers rapidly cool the body, accelerating muscle recovery and skin rejuvenation. Cryogenically chilled air reduces inflammation and stimulates collagen production. The reduction of inflammation helps to accelerate injury recovery. Collagen helps reduce signs of aging and cellulite. You can see these chambers on the Instagrams of super models such as Karlie Kloss and GiGi Hadid who calls it her beauty “secret weapon” according to NYC & PT. Cryo Skin 2.0 is a new form of Cryotherapy that naturally destroys fat cells, remove cellulite, and reduce signs of aging. CryoSkin 2.o is $350 per session and full body Cryotherapy is $75 p...
