By CHLOE. By Jillian

Let me start off this post by saying, I'm not vegan. In fact, I have a highly protein based diet. If you are vegan, I mean no offense but meat lovers like me can be turned off of a restaurant when we see "Vegan" plastered on the side of the glass. To meat lovers, By CHLOE. is not a restaurant you should shy away from when you walk past it on the street.

I mean, COME ON!!! Look at that burger, those fries... were amazing! I had the Spicy Thai salad with apricot-sriracha glazed tempeh, almonds, quinoa, edamame, scallion, crispy wontons and peanut dressing. Literally, one of the best salads I have ever had. By CHLOE. doesn't stop at lunch, they also offer great smoothies, a variety of cold and hot beverages (including coffee!), a very delicious brunch menu and dessert. Yes, dessert! They have a variety of ice creams and pastries in a section they call Sweets By CHLOE. As if all of this weren't enough to turn a meat lover like me onto a vegan place like this, they also offer dog treats. With a choice of Pupcakes or a Bag O'Dog Bones, I brought home an order of Pupcakes to my dog. They were gone almost as fast as my salad. Meat lovers and vegans can finally sit down in one place and enjoy a meal at By CHLOE.

  1. I can appreciate a vegan or vegetarian meal that fills me up and is just as tasty as a carnivorous one. Great review! Thanks, I just might check it out.

Post Workout Habits

While working out is always on trend, lately what you do before and after your workout has become even more popular. There are many ways that people have been taking care of their bodies outside of working out but lately there are two ways that have been trending over Instagram. First, Cryofeul located in TriBeca on Colby street. Cryotherapy chambers rapidly cool the body, accelerating muscle recovery and skin rejuvenation. Cryogenically chilled air reduces inflammation and stimulates collagen production. The reduction of inflammation helps to accelerate injury recovery. Collagen helps reduce signs of aging and cellulite. You can see these chambers on the Instagrams of super models such as Karlie Kloss and GiGi Hadid who calls it her beauty “secret weapon” according to NYC & PT. Cryo Skin 2.0 is a new form of Cryotherapy that naturally destroys fat cells, remove cellulite, and reduce signs of aging. CryoSkin 2.o is $350 per session and full body Cryotherapy is $75 p...

Guerlain’s Bullet #futuretrendpretiction

Not yet a trend but likely to be in the future. The Guerlain lipstick is customized for you. Something that has likely not shown up yet on your social media feed caught my attention the other day when a friend showed me her lipstick. The tube was an unusual shape, almost looked like a large bullet. When I asked her about it she told me that it was by the company Guerlain and she customized the tube in the store. I knew I had to check it out more. On the Guerlain website you can choose between 30 different shades and 15 different cases of the Rouge G De Guerlain, also known as “The Bullet”. All cases have a double mirror that allows for easy application anywhere. The lipstick itself is made up of plant-based polymers and silver microcrystals that create a luminous, long-lasting color. The lipstick will not dry out your lips thanks to the jojoba, a southwestern North American nut, and mango butt er that nourish your lips throughout the day. The first of it’s kind, th...

Why is Charcoal in Everything?

It’s in your toothpaste, your facemask, even in your soap! What is the big deal about Charcoal? Back in 2015 was when we first started hearing about the powers of charcoal. Since then it has spread from beauty products to our household items to our food. Everywhere we look there seems to be a hue of grey. If you’re like me, you might have gotten caught up in the trend without intending to and now somehow you have been partaking in some benefits that you have no idea what they are. I’m here to inform you how charcoal can help you in the many different forms of products we see it in today. We’ll start at the very beginning, the birth of the charcoal trend, the toothpaste. It was hard to go on social media without seeing someone with seriously black teeth that somehow turned their teeth whiter. How does it work? According to Trust Dental Care these toothpastes are made from a form of charcoal called Activated Charcoal. Activated Charcoal has natural adhesive qualities...
